Agent Spotlight: Nick Kippenberg — PHG’s First-Ever Two-Month Top Producer This Year
This month’s Agent Spotlight is a special one. For the first time ever, one of our agents has held the top spot for two months in a row. Huge congratulations to Nick Kippenberg, our October Agent Spotlight (Special Edition), for his incredible back-to-back production in August and September, closing a total of $4.7 million.
This year, Nick made a big decision—he went all in on real estate. No more part-time, no backup plan, no distractions. Just full focus. “I took it seriously this year,” he said. “Once I gave it my full attention, everything changed.”
Nick’s biggest competition is himself. Every month, he’s trying to beat his own numbers. He’s incredibly self-aware and always analyzing what’s working and what’s not. Instead of chasing a perfect routine, he focuses on making the most out of every single day—breaking things down to the smallest details to make sure his time is being used wisely.
The way Nick handles his clients says everything about how he works. He’s level-headed, patient, and focused on earning trust. “Everyone’s different,” he said. “Each client has their own story, their own situation. I try to study that and show up the way they need me to.”
And while no real estate deal ever runs perfectly, Nick’s goal is to make it run as smoothly as possible. “Nothing goes 100% right,” he laughed, “but I’ll make sure it goes as close to perfect as it can.”
For Nick, no one is just a client. He builds real relationships, and even after closing, he stays in touch. He loves being that go-to person people can count on—not just for real estate, but as a trusted advisor in general.
Nick’s story isn’t one of instant success—it’s one of grit. A few years back, he tried real estate but couldn’t get it to work. “I wasn’t with the right people,” he said. “I felt like just a number and had to keep another job to stay afloat.”
When he found Paramount Home Group, everything shifted. He quit his serving job, went all in, and never looked back. But it wasn’t easy. “The leap itself is the easy part,” he said. “The real question is—are you ready to work 90 hours a week, miss out on things, and still keep going when you’re broke or in debt?”
Nick was $20,000 in debt when he made the switch, but he pushed through. “There were some really hard moments,” he shared, “but I just kept waking up and getting after it.”
Right now, balance isn’t his focus—and he’s honest about that. “I’ll take a day or two off here and there, but not much. Until I hit the milestones I’ve set, I’m staying locked in.”
If he wasn’t in real estate, Nick says he’d still probably be doing something in sales. He tried college, worked as a waiter, but always knew real estate was where he belonged.
To his clients and anyone thinking about working with him, Nick says:
“There are agents who treat this like a hobby, and there are agents who live it. This is my life. I’ve been able to grow because of who I surround myself with, and I owe a lot of that to Paramount Home Group and Keegan Siegfried. I’ve had the right guidance and the right people around me—and that’s made all the difference.”
